CAS Birthday

I needed a quick birthday card and the sketch at CPS was perfect.

I also used the color challenge at The Play Date Cafe

Adhered a piece of dp to a white card base.  Stamped the sentiment by Gina K in Memento Nautical Blue and die cut with a Spellbinders Pennants die and tied a piece of blue twine around the end.  Die cut the black circle with Spellbinders, cutting the small circle first.

Thursday Cards

First, sketch challenge at Card Patterns

The Crazy Challenge following a recipe
And Touch Twin Markers challenge - something with hair

I received the image through Wish RAK at Splitcoaststamers.  Colored the dog with Touch Twin Markers and cut him out.  Layered onto 2 die cut circles.  Made the banner strip with Post It Tape sponged with Distress Antique Linen then stamped with Timeless Textures by Gina K in Distress Burlap. Embossed a square of kraft with the Herringbone CB folder and lightly sponged with more Burlap.  The houndstooth layer is by Core'dinations and was lightly sanded.

The train is from Gina K's Oh Boy!.  Made some faux washi tape with Post It Tape stamped with Gina K's Ribbon Stripes.  Image is colored with Touch Twin Markers.

Thanks for taking a look!

A Couple for Tuesday

A couple of challenges today.  What if? Wednesday Sketch at The House That Stamps Built
Repeat Impressions Sketch M3012

Stamps are by Repeat Impressions - Big Boy's Toys.  I used it for a big girl's toy.  Stamped the car with Memento Rich Cocoa then stamped the sentiment over the image with VersaFine Black.  Cut out and layered with Spellbinders Labels dies and added the dots with a Souffle gel pen.  The leopard strip is a piece of tissue paper that was adhered to some Scor Tape then added to the card - faux washi tape.  Colored some black and white baker's twine with a Touch Twin Marker.

The sketch at Mojo Monday was a fun one this week

I love this set by Melanie Muenchinger - Gina K - Gifts from the Sea.  This is the set that I was honored to be a guest designer for Melanie.  The dp is a free digi from Mel Stampz  The shells were colored with Touch Twin Markers, cut out and layered.  The solid panel was stamped with the sand stamp in Vivid Tuscan Tan then misted with Sand Glimmer Mist.  The border punch is by Martha Stewart.
This is also for the Simon Says Stamp Presents a Star Challenge
This may be a little stretch using a star fish.
