Sketched Wood Hello

Playing with some of my newer Reverse Confetti stamps using their March Sketch

And also using the theme from The Male Room  - Use Wood

Used an Antique Linen Distress pad to create the rectangular shape by placing the edge of the pad on the ivory cardstock and sliding downward.  Stamped the paint swashes from Reverse Confetti with Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa.  Stamped some woodgrain onto some kraft in Memento Soft Sand for a subtle look, then stamped the hello, from the same Reverse Confetti set. with Versamark and heat embossed with blue ep.

Thanks for dropping in!

Balloon Birthday

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for this birthday Card.

Stamped the balloons with Memento Luxe Nautical Blue and Bahama Blue.  The smaller balloon was stamped first then masked to stamp the larger one.  Added the strings and sentiment  using Altenew ink in black.  The card base is from Concord & 9th.

Thanks for taking a closer look!

Just Us Girls #386 - Photo Week

Vicki has a fun photo for your inspiration at Just Us Girls Photo Week.

This is our last week with our March Guest Designer Nance Salkeld and I want to thank her for sharing all of her wonderful creations with us.  Now hop on over to the JUGS Challenge Blog to see what Nance and the rest of the talented Design Team have created using this cool photo.

I found this teapot in an old Gina K set.  It has a fleur-de-lis on it, so I masked it directly on the stamp with some washi tape, inked it up and removed the tape, then stamped it.  Then added the little butterfly and colored with Prismacolor markers.  Used some patterned papers from my stash and stamped the orange polka dots.  Heat embossed the sentiment in white.  Inside sentiment is: Beautiful inside and out.

Now it's your turn to come play along in our Photo Challenge and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible for a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Off the Edge

Playing along with CAS-ual Fridays Off the Edge Challenge

Stamped the flowers from Concord & 9th, colored with Primsmacolor pencils and cut them out.  Added some Nuvo Crystal drops in lime green to the flower centers.  Stamped the leaves from the same set and colored in with Prismacolor marker.  Added the sentiment from Gina K and die cut with a scalloped edge tag from SU.  Added lime green dots to the scallops.  The patterned papers are a free digi from Mel Stampz.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Just Us Girls #385 - Color Week

It's Color Week at Just Us Girls and Lisa has chosen the colors Pink, Purple and Gray.  This is a beautiful color combination.

Nance Salkeld, our March Guest Designer is with us again this week.  Check out what Nance and the rest of the JUGS design team have created using these colors.

I have finally used these awesome flowers from Altenew.  The outlines were stamped in gray, the solid piece in pink and the accent layer with purple.  Stamped the hello in a slightly darker purple and die cut.  Layered onto a gray polka dot card base from Lawn Fawn.

Show us your creations using these colors at JUGS and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would put you in the running for a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Just Us Girls #384 - Trend Week

It's Trend Week at Just Us Girls and Maria has chosen the Trend to use a stencil.  There are so many things you can do with a stencil!

Nance Salkkeld is with us again this week as our March Guest Designer.  Come and check out what Nance and the rest of the Design Team at JUGS have created using stencils.

First I started with a chevron/arrow strip stencil down the right side using Multi-Medium (because I couldn't find my texture paste).  When that was dry, added some light blue ink smeared partially over that strip and then stamped a brush stroke over that in the same color.  Added a wavy chevron stenciled area in a darker blue.  Added the splatters, also a stencil in yet a darker blue.  Stamped the little coffee stain circles in the light blue and darker blue.  Die cut the butterfly from Concord & 9th from some glitter cardstock and enhanced it with some Touch Twin markers.  Added the sentiment from Altenew.

Come and play along with us at JUGS and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

Just Us Girls #383 - Word Week

Bobby is our hostess this week at Just Us Girls for Word Week and she has chosen the word "Geometric".  So many possibilities with this word.

I would like to welcome our Guest Designer for the month of March - Nance Salkeld
Wait until you see all of the creativity that Nance and the rest of the JUGS Design Team have come up with.

I used a hexagon stencil for my Geometric shape and sponged it with Distress Ink in Squeezed Lemonade.  Stamped the butterfly and sentiment from Gina K and then colored with Prismacolor markers.

How does the word Geometric inspire you?  Come and play along with us at Just Us Girls and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then put you in the running at a chance to be our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.
